Ingredients
For 4 servings (for one lasagna)
For the bechamel sauce
- 3 tablespoons vegan margarine or butter
- 3 tablespoons wheat flour type 1050
- 500 mL / 17 fl oz Barista pea drink
- ground nutmeg
- salt and pepper
Preparation
For the bechamel sauce
Step 1
Melt the margarine/butter in a small saucepan and add the flour, saute for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 2
Deglaze the mixture with the pea drink and bring to the boil while stirring.
Step 3
Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until sauce thickens.
Step 4
Season with nutmeg, salt and pepper and process further (e.g. for lasagna and vegetable casserole).
