Preparation
Loaf Bread: All ingredients should be at room temperature.
Ingredients: 500 g Schär Mix B, 10 g dry yeast or 10 g fresh yeast, 500 ml lukewarm water, 6 g oil, 8 g salt.
Thoroughly combine the flour mix with the water and oil. Using a stand mixer with a dough hook, knead at the highest speed for about 5 minutes until a smooth dough forms. If using fresh yeast, first dissolve it in the water before adding it to the dough. Add the salt last. Transfer the dough to a previously greased loaf pan, cover with a damp kitchen towel, and leave to rise in a warm place until doubled in volume. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 50 minutes. Do not open the oven during baking. For a golden-brown crust, brush the surface of the bread with beaten egg, milk, or oil before baking. Allow the bread to cool after baking before slicing.
