Helia-D Botanic Therapy nourishing body lotion with Tokaji wine extract for normal skin.
Daily, regular skin care is important not only for our face, but for our whole body, so that every inch of our skin is hydrated, nourished and supple. We’ve taken the ingredients that have been so successful in our face creams and applied them to body care, and that’s how our Botanic Concept Nourishing Body Moisturizer was born. It contains intensely moisturizing hyaluronic acid, glycerin, a range of antioxidants including Tokaji wine extract and vitamin E, as well as nourishing, regenerating plant oils such as sunflower oil, grapeseed oil and shea butter.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is a natural moisturizing factor (NMF) found in the skin and has excellent water retention properties. It is able to absorb up to a thousand times its own weight in water, leaving the skin feeling more supple and soft to the touch. Not only does it relieve dehydrated skin, it also fades the fine lines that appear as a result, replacing lost moisture and leaving skin firmer. It also strengthens the skin barrier and has antioxidant properties. Hyaluronic acid is known in several molecular weights, the absorption of which is greatly influenced by its size. The high molecular weight hyaluronic acid can retain the most moisture, but because of its size it is the least absorbent. The medium molecular weight ones are best at strengthening the skin barrier, while the low molecular weight ones can penetrate deepest into the skin. It is best for our skin if cosmetics contain all three molecular weights of hyaluronic acid.
Tokaji wine extract
A natural ingredient with antioxidant properties that can fight against free radicals harmful to the skin. Free radicals can trigger inflammatory processes in the skin and also have a negative effect on skin collagen levels, all of which contribute to skin aging. From an anti-aging perspective, antioxidants can go a long way in keeping our skin firm and elastic.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is one of the most beneficial vitamins for our skin. It has excellent antioxidant properties and is a highly fat-soluble active ingredient that helps to reduce damage caused by free radicals, thus helping to protect the skin from damage caused by UV radiation. It can also act as an emollient, strengthening the skin’s barrier to make it more resistant to environmental damage.
Sunflower oil
Sunflower oil (Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Oil) is a fragrance-free vegetable oil known to have a number of beneficial effects on the skin. As an emollient ingredient, it has emollient properties and is rich in fatty acids, including linoleic acid. It also has proven anti-inflammatory properties and strengthens the skin barrier by helping to balance the skin’s water and oil balance.
Grapeseed oil
Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil is a fatty acid-rich, fragrance-free emollient with excellent emollient properties and strong antioxidant properties. It is a plant oil rich in linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid, which strengthens the skin’s protective layer and has anti-inflammatory properties. Grapeseed oil improves skin elasticity and softness and helps to maintain skin moisture.
Shea butter
Shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)) is a natural vegetable fat produced from the seeds of the African shea tree and has a light yellowish colour and a sweetish fragrance. Its cosmetic use is widespread due to its excellent emollient emollient properties and its high antioxidant content, including vitamins A, E and F, quercetin and EGCG catechin. It has a skin regenerating and soothing effect and protects the skin against harmful environmental influences.
